From Humble Beginnings to Regional Trust
Anbar Hospital is a fully registered medical centre and company, incorporated under the laws of Uganda (Registration No: 80020001669041). It is owned and led by our Medical Director, Dr. Mwesigye Ismael, with offices in Katogo Ward, Mubende.
When we opened our doors on 15 May 2019, we began with a small infrastructure, a few staff members and a handful of services. Today the hospital offers almost every health service the community needs, with adequate, professional staff and infrastructure that includes a dental unit, x-ray and ultrasound rooms, an operating theatre, admission wards for men, women and children, maternity, reception, consultation rooms, laboratory, staff quarters and stores, providing services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
It is through this steady growth that Anbar Hospital has earned an impressive reputation among clients, strong relationships with the community, and growing partnerships with insurers and organisations seeking high-standard health services for their people.
